From the Paper:

"Still physically and mentally stable, the grandmother "pays her rent" by taking care of the couple's children, in addition to the cousins, who live with the family because of their parents' death. Both the mother and the father work full-time, so the grandmother is considered the primary child caregiver in the family. In order to help the grandmother care for the children--two boys and two girls who are all under the age of 13--the father's sister visits the home three times during the week. Because she is not living with the family, however, she is not considered part of the extended family."
