From the Paper:
"The making of decisions within an ethical framework has three essential components according to the EAI, those of awareness, articulation, and application. These are founded upon the beliefs which an individual holds intrinsically, their core being the term utilized by the EAI. For an individual to be committed to ethics they must first understand that which is proper and furthermore have the capacity to compare this against alternatives. Opinions are formed based upon this with the morally correct actions being chosen, and should there not be a solid answer it is important for all individuals to develop a code of ethics upon which to ground decisions."
