From the Paper:

"Operating as one of the best known brands and most profitable global entertainment companies, Disney's strategic approach to combining their three separate media divisions in conjunction with expertise with integrated marketing communications (IMC) has made this company one of the most consistently profitable as well (Data Monitor, 2004). Disney is organized into separate media divisions. The Disney Media Network operates the ABC Television Network and owns over ten television stations as of this writing in addition to the ESPN Radio Network, Radio Disney, and over forty different radio stations as well. Disney is most known for its Parks and Resorts segment, which operates Disneyland, Walt Disney World Report in Florida, Euro Disney in Paris, and Disneyland Hong Kong, and Tokyo Disney Resort. Relying on the lessons learned from IMC-based strategies, Disney also created a Studio Entertainment segment to coincide with the Parks and Resort segment so the two could support one another from a merchandising standpoint."
