RGMG is owned and managed by physicians and is organized into five clinical areas of concentration: 1) Obstetrics and Gynecology, 2) Pediatrics, 3) General Practice, 4) Urology, and 5) Orthopedics. Each clinical department is directly managed by a practicing physician acting as the clinical head. Because of the number of support and medical staff required to maintain the operations of a medical group with 35 practicing physicians is substantial, a number of operational problems have begun to emerge that are interfering with the quality of care, revenue maintenance, and human resource concerns within RGMG.
