The rise and fall of the general economy affects many businesses, reducing the money the consumer can spend during bad times and especially affecting a small specialty regional brewer like Breckenridge, while in good times, consumers will spend more and buy slightly more expensive products as they experiment with products like beer. At the present time, the direction of the economy is positive."
