Finally the argument on love that can be derived from the story, is that oftentimes it can overpower a person's sense of self so much so that he/she may become dependent upon making certain choices in life based on what the lover has done; this dependence can be regarded as being a negative aspect of love, since it not only robs a person of being independent of his/her lover, but also blinds him/her to any mistaken choices that might have been made.
The awareness that one has fallen in love can sometimes cause a person to experience bewilderment over the object of one's affection."
