"In literature as in life, a human being is driven by emotion. Our emotions are fragile components to our development as our lives unfold. How we deal with these emotions dictate who we are and what our lives will be come. Hamlet's philosophical mind was paramount to his emotions. Nevertheless, leading his intelligence to over power what his heart had desired. Revenge is what drove Hamlet throughout Shakespeare's play, however, his inability to act in the moment lead to his ultimate demise. The actions of our subconscious take a back seat to our thoughts in the unconscious and Hamlet's unconscious lead him to withdraw from killing his father's murderer."
