Paper Summary:
This paper reviews the book "Beloved" by Toni Morrison, a book that addresses freedom through the eyes of broken, down-hearted former slaves. The paper speaks briefly of the main characters in the books and how their stories are pieced together like a jigsaw puzzle to form a more complete picture for the reader. The author also discusses Morrison's use of a non-linear style - pieces of separate stories, and how this technique ensured the honesty of the novel.
