Paper Summary:

This paper summarizes and critiques the novel "Fatal Equilibrium". The paper focuses on the concept of information technology discussed in the book and compares this to other basic economic concepts discussed in the book. The paper also notes that the book, written well over 15 years ago, while interesting and entertaining to read, is very outdated in terms of the technology and economic concepts of today.

From the Paper:

"Glaringly apparent by the copyright date on this work one quickly finds many of the specific Economic Concepts presented are well over 15 years old and as such have been revised several times in the interim. Several too are basic Economic Concepts many that are also updated. For example, the newly introduced concept in this work the Economic Information theories, new at the time of this work's writing. More is the pity, as this cleverly written novel, from the Economist's viewpoint reads very similar to an Agatha Christie work making it a very pleasant diversionary read."
