The major airlines responded by dropping the unprofitable routes, in favor of the more profitable ones that were the long haul flights between big cities. Drugs are classified into four categories: stimulants, depressants, psychedelics, and inhalants. Each of these different types of drugs causes different effects on the human body. The average person can think of a neighbor, friend, or family member who is a substance abuser. It seems that he or she rarely stops and thinks about what drugs and other chemicals can do to our body. Abstract This paper shows that the decline in airline revenues post-9/11 served to further exacerbate the rise of low-cost airlines and the financial fragility of airlines with high fixed costs. As 9/11 devastated revenues for large airlines with high costs, low-cost airlines flourished. Further, the trend toward low-cost airlines seems to be here to stay, illustrating the dangers of inflexibility and high fixed costs in the cyclical airline industry. To some, this is a hassle but to others this is not enough. These items may be considered dangerous or could lead to fear or serious harm to passengers on airplanes. Abstract Jet lag is one of the most common problems among domestic and international air travelers, causing a variety of physical and mental problems. This paper looks at these problems and provides a detailed list of suggestions to help overcome or minimalize jet-lag. These include rest, sleep, noise limitation, avoidance of alcohol, drinking of water and exercise.

The most common cause of jet lag is rapid transit across a variety of worldwide time zones.
