"In this article, Reynolds analyzes the combination of the use of ecstasy and the developing Rave culture in Great Britain from a sociological standpoint, suggesting a number of social changes traceable in some degree to the growing use of drugs as a recreation and to the youth culture that adopted drugs. The author finds evidence for the widespread acceptance of recreational drugs in a showing on television of an episode of "Inspector Morse" in which the drug culture was evident and throughout Reynolds cites pop culture for much of his evidence."
