↶ Look Inside

Paper Summary:

This paper defines the scientific method of splitting genes to produce a cloned human baby. It then presents the arguments against human cloning before presenting counter-arguments. Some of the issues discussed are ethics, religious arguments, and safety factors.

From the Paper:

"The second group of people that would greatly benefit in the same way are homosexuals. In his book "Who's afraid of Human Cloning?"(3), Gregory Pence argues that human cloning would make homosexuals truly equal as far as children are concerned in that both men and women who are homosexuals would be able to have children that are from their own DNA without having to resort to sexual intercourse. This is a very valid point in that homosexuals would be free to make their own choices about children and how they are conceived."
