Third World Poverty

"This study will argue that the primary reason for Third World poverty is exploitation by the First World, both now and in the past.

As we read in Dan Morgan's Merchants of Grain, the statistics for hunger in the Third World are almost identical to the statistics for hunger. Those who are poor are also hungry. The basic argument of this study is that the richer and more developed nations exploit the poorer and less developed nations, and the correlation between poverty and hunger is crucial, for it introduces the importance of product in the relationship of the Third and First World nations. The poor are poor and hungry simply because, in the first place, they do not have the money or the power to seriously affect and change that relationship.
