Paper Summary:
This paper discusses the apologetic perspective of the resurrection of Jesus and presents arguments that defend this belief. The paper looks at five different testimonies that the author claims prove Jesus did rise from the dead and then discusses some of the doubts raised about Jesus' resurrection. The writer then proceeds to refute these doubts and concludes that the best way to defend the Resurrection of Jesus is to say that it happened exactly how the disciples had explained.
From the Paper:
"Paul the Apostle wrote a letter of defense for the Resurrection of Jesus. In the letter, Paul basically argues that if we do not believe in resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not even been raised. In 1 Corinthians 15:14, Paul writes, "If Christ was not raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your trust in God is useless." Witnesses of God rising Christ from the dead are considered false witnesses if they do not believe that the dead cannot be raised. Thus, Paul believes one's faith is useless if one does not believe that Christ has been raised. Even though He died for our sins, those sins may still haunt those of useless faith and doubt. "
