The essay argues that globalization has brought about greater economic inequalities between the rich nations and the poor nations as well as greater inequalities between different social groups within developed countries. Furthermore, the essay argues that globalization of world culture mostly means its Americanization and the economic globalization is underlined by the free capitalism ideology.
