From the Paper:

"The headline of an article in the Kenyan newspaper called "Daily Nation", dated May 30, 2009 screams "Mobile phone is enemy within for text generation." In the article, author John Makeni explores the reasons "why parents should worry about the kind of messages their teens are sending." While it is true that mobile phones - like any other type of technology - comes with its own brand of social ills, John Makeni neglects the fact that mobile phones offer enormous educational opportunities for a developing country like Kenya."
