Same-Sex Marriage

Paper Summary:

The paper discusses many negative points of same sex marriages. The issues, problems and religious aspects of these recently recognized unions are highlighted throughout the paper. The paper concludes with the recommendation that gays should instead find a term that defines their own relationships and leave the word marriage out of the equation.

He alone cannot reproduce; she alone cannot reproduce; when the two become one flesh, they can. This bodily union of spouses is the foundation of the multi-level sharing of life that constitutes marriage". What the supporters of same-sex marriage need to realize is that no amount of fighting or arguing will change this fact. Two gay men and two gay women will never be able to make a child and nothing will every change that fact."
