"For example, scientific studies suggest some people are born with a hereditary disposition to alcoholism, but no one would argue that someone ought to fulfill these inborn urges by becoming an alcoholic. Alcoholism is not an acceptable lifestyle any more than homosexuality is. On another note, the United Church of Christ, recently addressed the world by advertising the following: "Jesus didn't turn people away; neither do we" (Letellier 931). The church is getting the word out that homosexuals are born the way they are and they (the church) embrace them. This does not follow the message of the bible."
