"This study will examine a health care-related issue from the perspective of the employer, with respect to managed care. Specifically, the study will consider the need for increased vigilance on the part of employers with respect to health care for employees. While there has been, in recent years, a more concerned policy on the part of employers in this regard, the increasing costs of health care, and the array of health care programs available, make it vital that the employer never take this aspect of his business for granted. Such constant concern on the part of the employer is necessary to keep down the costs of health care, to give the employees the best care available within the realistic economic constraints of the business, and, in some cases, to make sure that the business is not undermined by the costs of health care.
