"There can be little question that healthy public debate is vital to the perpetuation and maintenance of a democracy, especially ones as enormous and as heterogeneous as the United States and/or Canada. With this in mind, this paper argues that bloggers who write about public affairs actually contribute to the development and advancement of rational debate in the public sphere.
