"Edna St. Vincent Millay is one of the greatest twentieth-century playwrights and poets. Unlike most poets who try to (and often succeed at) achieve and maintain success by writing poems which are vague or filled with unnecessary verses and/or words, Millay uses ordinary words to describe one of life's most extraordinary and precious gifts, i.e., love.
