"Acts is both a historical documentary and a documentary on faith. The book of Acts can be seen as a link between the Gospels and the Epistles. It serves as a transition from the stories about what Jesus actually did and what was done in His name. In the Gospels, Jesus is doing the preaching and in the Epistles, Jesus is being preached. The book of Acts explains how the one delivering the message, became the message that was being delivered."
