As the Internet grows more critical our daily communications and presents all new advantages, vendors and technology have been moving away from less advantageous in-house LAN-based hardware and software processes. Although the Local Area Network technology has been slowly been overshadowed by more robust and efficient web based networking technologies, the NMCI has been reluctant to move away from these existing hardware and software local Area Network technologies."
