Paper Summary:

The paper offers many examples from William Shakespeare's, "Romeo and Juliet" that illustrate how Romeo and Juliet, the two main characters, were affected by the actions that they chose to make. The paper also highlights how they were also greatly affected by the actions of others around them, especially those they had thought could be trusted.

From the Paper:

"Romeo and Juliet, a play by William Shakespeare is thought to be one of Shakespeare's early plays, written approximately between 1594 -1595 around the same time that the comedy, "A Midsummer's Night Dream" was also written by the same playwright. It was also thought that this play was first performed during the Fall or Winter of 1594, in London, following a devastating plague that had killed many in London the Winter before. This is a play filled with love, pride, rage, suicide, and murder. This powerful play is one in which several of the characters in the play were affected by their actions and/or the actions of others, in particular the lead players, Romeo and Juliet. Often in these cases, these characters' emotions were to blame, and these actions led to certain tragedy."
