Written in 2009; 850 words; 1 sources; MLA; $ 30.95
Paper Summary:
The paper discusses the philosophies of Saint Augustine of Hippo, one of the greatest theologians of the Western world. The paper discusses his writings and ontological arguments on the existence of God.
From the Paper:
"Moreover, Augustine proceeded to emphasize the fact that the order of creation itself is a token of the self-existent reality of God. Thus, the unity and the perfection of the universe are a proof of God's wisdom which supports all creation: "The order and unity of Nature proclaims the unity of the Creator, just as the goodness of creatures, their positive reality, reveals the goodness of God and the order and stability of the universe manifest the wisdom of God. On the other hand, God, as the self-existent, eternal and immutable Being, is infinite, and, as infinite, incomprehensible."
