"Throughout history authors have used their works to convey messages and draw emotions from their readers. The poetry genre is perhaps the most emotion filled style of literature there is. Poetry allows the writer to draw on the deepest feelings and thoughts of those who read the works and from each poem the reader draws life based on their own past experiences. One of the most exciting elements of poetry is the fact that the reader takes the words and then responds with emotion based on the experiences they have had in life.
