After Kathy Kudler worked in the corporate world for so many years, she decided that it was time to start a business that helped in the process of doing something she loved. Cooking gourmet foods had always been a passion of hers and she wanted a place that would bring ingredients from all over the world into one place. With this idea Kathy has created a friendly and convenient environment for her customers who share her same passion.
"Kudler Foods is slowly shifting to a more organic organizational structure. Combined with the functional structure that was discussed earlier, the organic structure focuses on flexibility and change. "It emphasizes horizontal relationships involving teams, departments, or divisions and provisions to coordinate these lateral units" (Gomez, Balkin, 2002, p.21) While managers in the company have a more functional structured role, they are still incorporating flexibility in dealing with changing customer needs and the evolving technical environment."u
