"The Tim Burton directed 'Edward Scissorhands' relies upon a score by Danny Elfman and a soundtrack that is heavily laced with songs performed by legendary s sex symbol Tom Jones. In 'Edward Scissorhands' the title character is a reworking of the classic character of Frankenstein including a gothic setting. Created by an aging mad inventor played by Vincent Price the inventor dies before he is able to finish his creation. Edward lacks hands and instead still retains the scissors put there temporarily by the inventor ..."
