Paper Summary:
This paper explains how marriage and family is a topic discussed frequently in the Bible. However, in today's world, many people have decided to not follow the Bible's teachings. This has resulted in a variance in marriage that, in most cases, is sinful. It looks at how it is important for Christians to read and study the many passages about marriage because they provide a blueprint for what God meant for marriage to be.
From the Paper:
"The modern family is one that has evolved over the years. Until the 20th century, the family could be easily defined. In those days, the family was a husband and wife along with their children and any relatives that may be living with them. Sometimes there might be a single mother or father, but most of the time these cases came as a result of a death. Nowadays, the family is a little more difficult to define. These differences have come as a result of social evolution. However, this social evolution has not necessarily been one that has adhered to the Biblical ideal for the family. Some of the different types of families seen today are ones that are in line with the Biblical ideals but some have veered away from those ideals."
