If people do not practice their faith in their everyday lives, their faith is reduced to an inactive mental concept. The connections between Christianity and Buddhism are not as important as are the similar usages of things like the Holy Spirit and mindfulness. The idea Hanh puts forth is that both Buddhism and Christianity utilize concepts to reach the ultimate goal."
