Norfolk has a rich history that has been well documented throughout the decades, and in fact centuries, much of which has focused on the development rendered by its human inhabitants. One of the most easily available methods of tracing the impact of human development in Norfolk over the years is to examine the structures, which have been built during different historical time periods. These buildings shed light on the history of the town and the impact humans have had, and indeed, continue to have. In fact, the preservation of historical buildings is of the utmost importance to the town of Norfolk today and many historical societies are devoted to the preservation."
