↶ Look Inside

Paper Summary:

This paper begins by providing a brief biography about the author Richard Neely. It then summarizes the main points and shows how Neely makes a convincing case that the judicial system in the United States, at present, defends an individual from the incursion of the executive branch and at the same time, defends society from the inactivity and disinterest of the legislative branch.

From the Paper:

"Neely asserts that that there is an assumption that the rewriting of often old laws, known as tort reforms, concerning injury and damage is supposedly thought to be making the law more reasonable? However, Neely argues that there's a small problem with that theory. He says that the people who obtain to execute tort reform are the identical ones it is destined to restrain: the judges on state courts. As accomplished and capable lawyers, they recognize a hundred conducts and customs over, under, and around simple parchment obstacles."
