For example, the struggle between the boss and an employee were well documented in the exchanges between Fred and Mr. Slate. Fred's mother-in-law never had a good opinion of her son-in-law and came across as a curmudgeon. Even from the point of view of entertainment, variants of the names of the famous musicians and movie personalities were used."
