1,900 words (approx. 7.6 pages) | 7 sources | MLA | 2002 United States

Paper Summary:

This paper seeks to understand the American military leader George Washington. By his example of courageous action on the battlefield, as well as his brilliant strategies and strategems to foil the British, we can learn how he won a war against incredible odds. Also, beneath this veneer of military might, he could be extremely sensitive to the plight of slaves, as he secretly sought to abolish slavery when it would most certainly not have done the economy well in a new United States. By exploring these military and ethical approaches, we can learn of the incredible mind of a great leader.
