Paper Summary:

The paper relates that "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley is a novel that illustrates the irony that exists in men and how choices that may seem good for the world may, in truth, be dangerous. The paper goes on to illustrate how Dr. Frankenstein is very similar to Dr. Jekyll and compares the Monster's social forming with Victor's social alienation.

From the Paper:

"Frankenstein by Mary Shelley is a novel that illustrates the irony that exists in men and how choices that may seem good for the world may, in truth, be dangerous. When Victor Frankenstein decides to create a being out of pieces of people who are already dead, he thought that the creation would be a great one because he could bring people back from the dead. Dr. Frankenstein liked the idea of playing God because it fed his ego, yet he claimed it would be good for the world. Therein lies the irony in the story of Frankenstein."
