"Oral communication within the workplace is extremely common and extremely important. Some of the important situations I have used oral communication in include one-on-one meetings with subordinates, team meetings with other employees, and training sessions where I have trained group. With an understanding of communication styles and strategies, I am now able to look back at these situations and assess the communication that occurred. I will now look at each of these three situations in some detail. For each, I will consider how successful the communication was, what barriers or obstacles occurred, and how this communication could occur so it is more effective."
