The paper introduces British author Clive Barker and several of his novels and films which have become famous through his use of grisliness, horror and fantasy. The paper analyzes one of Barker's most famous works - six volumes of short horror stories called "The Books of Blood". It also discusses another side of Barker's talent - writing and directing movies, such as "Hellraiser" from 1987.From the Paper:
