In addition, the organization does not make medical or psychological diagnoses (Information on Alcoholics Anonymous, n.d.) . The organization does not provide hospitalization or other forms of in patient treatment(Information on Alcoholics Anonymous, n.d.). The program does not keep attendance records or try to keep track of members(Information on Alcoholics Anonymous, n.d.). For this reason, the success rate of alcoholics anonymous is virtually unknown. There have been independent investigation on the estimated success rate of the program but because members are free to come and go as they please there is no evidence to support the findings of independent inquiries."
