Paper Summary:

This paper compares the theme of pointless revolution in Latin American novels, "The Underdogs" by Mariano Azuela and "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. The paper illustrates that while the novels are written in different styles, both succeed in conveying the theme through their main characters, who are miserable at war. The paper states that the long costly revolutions ultimately amount to nothing.

From the Paper:

"Although "The Underdogs" and "One Hundred Years of Solitude" are very different works, they both contain the theme of revolution being pointless and cyclic. The authors Mariano Azuela and Gabriel Garcia Marquez, respectively, take different approaches in purveying their ideas. Mariano Azuela uses the form of a war novel, while Gabriel Garcia Marquez writes a novel which contains magical realism but nonetheless offers the same theme."

I'm currently finishing up my junior year at FSU. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I have an extremely high skill level at writing term papers. I received a 720 on the Verbal section of the SAT. My papers always make A's, often they are among the best in the classes I take.
