The authors Mariano Azuela and Gabriel Garcia Ma;rquez, respectively, take different approaches in purveying their ideas. Mariano Azuela uses the form of a war novel, while Gabriel Garcia Marquez writes a novel which contains magical realism but nonetheless offers the same theme."
