This paper offers a brief overview of many of the major Christian doctrines and outlines the Biblical passages that support each doctrine. Topics discussed include human nature, immortality, creation, original sin, the covenant, redemption and God as the ultimate power.
From the Paper:
"The metaphysical background of the Christian conception is that God exists. The Christian God is to be thought of as a personal Being, who created us, loves us, judges us, redeems us, and is not supposed to be thought of having a material body as we have. In fact, God as described in the bible is transcendent well as immanent, and present everywhere and all the time. He is not visible or tangible; nor, surely is He like the unobservable entities, such as atoms, electrons, and magnetism."
