Lloyd (2006) and other researchers created four alcoholic groups for study, including alcoholic husbands with and without personality disorders, as often accompany chronic addiction, and a group of alcoholic subjects with non-alcoholic wives, and a fourth made up of alcoholic husbands with also alcoholic wives (p. 121)."
